This album is a beguiling blend of dark ambient moods, nocturnal electronica and post-industrial flourishes.
It recalls elements of Pink Floyd at their most unsettling (circa Welcome to the Machine and the Animals album) and the mournful bleakness of the Terminator soundtrack.
Even though the album's destination is the blackest skies, the route is genuinely moving at times, and if not exactly hopeful, shot through with a wistful sense of introspection. Recommended. Michael Mueller
Just imagine if these outtakes made it into EATEOT, the project would've been over seven hours! I love how "I Might Be Vanishing" is a stark contrast from other tracks, being only nine seconds. AG319 Alt Acc
Japanese environmental and architechtural ambient from the 1980's at its best. Spare, minimalistic but incredibly evocative. Satie would love it!
