This is a superb album of deep ambient music, with each of the four distinctly different pieces cohering into an extremely satisfying whole.
Bass synth lines, heavy like frayed ship-rope laying deep against the ocean floor pull in the listener with a patient yet insistent power.
The second movement adds a percussive glitch to the drone, whilst the third varies this theme to create a foreboding sense of wearied tension, before the final piece bring things full circle.
Highly recommended.
